Plankton Viewed through a Microscope
   
All these things are microscopic organisms from 0.1 to 0.3 mm long. Ceratium, Dinophysis and the diatom are all plant cells and tintinnids feed on very small plant cells, the small circles in this view. Why are there so many different kinds?
